Music Director Laureate Leonard Slatkin returns to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, conducting Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony and two world premieres: Samuel Adler’s Mirror Images and Joseph Schwantner’s Violin Concerto with soloist Yevgeny Kutick. The concerts take place Friday, October 15 at 10:45 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 16 at 8 p.m. at Orchestra Hall. The October 16 performance will also be webcast for free at dso.org and via Facebook Live as part of the DSO’s Live from Orchestra Hall series.
