MSM Distinguished Visiting Artist and trustee Leonard Slatkin (MSM HonDMA ’13) conducts the MSM Symphony Orchestra for the first performance of MSM Icons, a new Manhattan School of Music concert series celebrating acclaimed alumni and trustees with exceptional international musical careers. Joining Slatkin are award-winning actor Alec Baldwin (MSM HonDMA ’12) as Narrator (The Raven), Sir James Galway and Lady Galway on flutes, and Fred Zlotkin on cello.

The program includes works by Glinka, Ravel, Altschuler, McTee, Leonard Slatkin, and Daniel Slatkin.
